The Brownsville Events Center has dividable function space
with flexibility to accommodate the needs of various sized
groups.
The main Ballroom has 15,530 square feet to accommodate 940
people in banquet style with dance floor and stage.
The Ballroom splits into five smaller rooms to accommodate
133 in classroom style and 205 people in theater style.
The Brownsville Events Center also has outdoor landscaped
waterfront grounds for different type of functions.

The complex functions as convention hall. Both, Jacob Brown Auditorium and Stillman Town Hall are available for rent for public and private events. The Stillman Town Hall seats 120 and is a popular venue for smaller conventions and committee meetings. The Jacob Brown Auditorium is used for athletic events, dances, conventions, banquets, and entertainments requiring a large amount of floor (10,944 square feet) or stage (2,800 square feet) space. The Jacob Brown Auditorium also features an attractive, 2,185 square foot lobby, dressing rooms, and a kitchen. The Jacob Brown Auditorium seating capacity is 1,593 (including balcony seating).

Looking for a place to host your next event? From weddings and Quinceañeras to conferences and meetings, the Ringgold Civic Pavilion offers its clients both an enjoyable yet calming atmosphere that caters to all of your event needs.
From its architectural design to its tranquil view of the resaca, the Ringgold Civic Pavilion is one civic facility that is undoubtedly unique. Its Sabal Palm Ballroom can be used in its entirety, or separated into three meeting areas, which can accommodate groups from 20 – 350 people.
The first of its kind, the Ringgold Civic Pavilion is nestled inside Dean Porter Park and is minutes away from the Camille Playhouse, the Children’s Museum, Sam’s Pool and Gladys Porter Zoo.

Meetings or social events may be booked in the Education Building, at the Oasis (#1), Eagles Nest (#2), Asian Cafe (#3), or in the front of Small World. Rental fees for these areas are a minimum of $225 which includes the first two hours of use and $100 per each additional hour. This includes table and chair set up with proper prior notice and coordination, but additional fees will be charged if extensive decoration or set up are requested. Fee also includes one parking lot attendant and a Zoo employee on the grounds. Parties at any of the concessions food service areas will only be scheduled when the regular concessions business is closed in the selected area.
Social events like weddings may also be scheduled in the Special Events Building, a 5,000 square foot air conditioned enclosure on the Zoo grounds. This building holds up to 700 people in concert seating configuration or 350 people seated at tables, depending on type and arrangement. The rental fee for this building starts at $850 for the first four hours and $100 for each additional hour. Thirty tables and 300 chairs are available and included in the rental fee. Additional tables and chairs, if needed, may be rented from outside sources. Restrooms are available close to this building. Zoo personnel included with this rental fee include a parking lot attendant and a restroom/facility attendant. Decorating or setting up this building may be done on the day of the event after 9:00am. If more time is needed for decoration, the building may be reserved prior to the event for a fee of $100 per day.

The VICC offers several options for meeting groups. "Los Compadres" Ballroom can accommodate up to 233 in banquet style and 315 in reception style, for smaller groups than 25 the lounge can be partitioned off from the Ballroom. The stage with more than 380 Sq. Ft. can be used for entertainment and presentations. The complex also features 4 breakout rooms for sessions.
