 AIR FIESTA returns to the Brownsville-South Padre Island International Airport on March 13th and 14th, 2010.
The RGV Wing of the Commemorative Air Force presents the newest edition of the Valley’s only flying air show. Once again, magnificent planes take to the skies to bring hours of exciting family entertainment on Saturday and Sunday.
You’ll see sky divers, fighters and bombers plus awesome pyrotechnical explosions. This is a gathering of some of the world’s most skilled pilots who come together to put on a spectacular show of America’s air power on Saturday the 13th and again on Sunday the 14th.
AIR FIESTA 2010 rolls back the clock to the early days of aviation and the stunt pilots and fly-boys known as barnstormers. The Aeroshell Aerobatic team

Brownsville,Texas - March 2010-The Brownsville Historical Association invites the community to celebrate Texas History Month and the 174th anniversary of the Texas Revolution with The Flags of Texas, a painting exhibit by Don Breeden on display at the Brownsville Heritage Museum. The exhibit will run from March 6, 2010 to April 3, 2010.
The exhibit will open with a presentation by Don Breeden on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 2:00 pm. The event is free to the public. There will be a reception after the presentation.

Come experience the life of a soldier in 1846! April 3, 2010 at 10:00am - 1:00pm
Our monthly living history program provides a glimpse of the two armies during the U.S.-Mexican War. Interpreters, in period uniforms, present military tactics and camp life. They also demonstrate the use of 19th century weaponry, including muskets and cannon. Visitors are encouraged to interact with "real" soldiers of the era and participate in a variety of hands-on activities. All programs are provided free of charge and everyone is invited to attend.

Stillman House Presents Gibson Girl Exhibit in Honor of Women's History Month - Collection donated by Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Conner and family from the Estate of Elnora Hardee Mother of Mellena Conner
BROWNSVILLE, March 2010--The Brownsville Historical Association cordially invites you discover how Charles Dana Gibson defined an entire generation with his pen and ink drawings of "It Girls" in the Gibson Girl exhibit at Stillman House, which runs from Thursday, March 11, 2010 to May 1, 2010. The exhibit is held in honor of Women's History Month in March.
The opening reception for the exhibit is scheduled for Thursday, March 11 at 6 p.m. and is free to the public. Refreshments will be served. The exhibition is supported in part through the City of Brownsville.

Brownsville, Texas-November, 2009 -The Brownsville Historical Association recently installed bilingual interpretive signs at 25 gravesites inside the Brownsville Historic City Cemetery as a way to educate the public about the importance of the cemetery. The signs compliment the cemetery walking tours administered by the Brownsville Historical Association. In the near future, BHA will install bilingual signage at 75 historic sites in the downtown and surrounding areas.
