Brownsville is the perfect two nation convention destination, offering a great climate, solid values, and a variety of venues. Meeting in Brownsville adds the Mexico and Gulf beach experience in one destination.

The Brownsville Events Centers façade greatly portrays the local architectural style with stucco and red tile roofs. The Events Center features 13,530 square feet of usable space.

Small to medium meeting groups will find that the center will meet all their requirements for general and breakout session needs. Maximum capacities for single focus type events include 1200 people in theater-style settings and 800 banquet-style.

The Brownsville Events Center's waterfront location has a landscaped gazebo for picture perfect outdoor receptions and functions. For more information on the Brownsville Events Center visit http://eventscenter.cob.us

The Ringgold Civic Pavilion is one civic facility that is undoubtedly unique. Its Sabal Palm Ballroom can be used in its entirety, or separated into three meeting areas, which can accommodate groups from 20 - 350 people.

The Fort Brown Memorial Center, located on the campus of The University of Texas at Brownsville, offers meeting space for local businesses and to those who are visiting the area. The complex consists of four meeting rooms that are available for rent for public and private events. The Stillman Town Hall seats 120, both the Stokely Hall and the Lee Youth Center accommodate up to 180 people and the Jacob Brown Auditorium has a seating capacity for 1,500 people.

In addition, the Holiday Inn of Brownsville with 141 guest rooms provides full service hotel meeting facilities with 5,742 sq. ft. of usable space that can be divided into four separate smaller rooms to accommodate various sized groups.

More single-function space is offered by a number of hotels and attractions in town. In total, Brownsville has a solid variety of venues to make events successful and memorable.

The many attractions and amenities in Brownsville and its surrounding area include two Gulf of Mexico beaches, seven challenging golf courses plus the many historical and natural sites of South Texas along with enchanting Mexico just across the Rio Grande.
